Inktober 2017 - Weeks 2, 3 and 4 and Society 6

So, I'm not really sure why, but I sort of had a melt down during Inktober this year. Just that usual suffering artist stuff, where I started hating all my work and being really mean to myself about my slow growth and lack of real art "skillz". Bit embarrassing really. I'm powering through, and basically pretending like it didn't happen that way.

I guess I should announce I've opened a Society 6 shop! It's mainly because I want a make-up bag with Lily Munster on it, for my personal use. If that sounds like something you could get behind, you can check it all out HERE.

And remember in my last post I shared some of my first week of Inktober efforts? Well, here's the rest of my Inktober work and two brush line portraits that I really enjoyed making right at the end. Enjoy. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

And now, enter the brush! There's really nowhere to hide when you're working with brush lines. If your anatomy is a little off, it all shows. But I quite like the asymmetrical, wonky feel of these portraits. Let's call it "stylisation" and just leave it there.
